Meet the Team Behind JCFD4
At Jackson County Fire District 4, our mission to serve and protect is only possible because of the exceptional people behind the badge. From seasoned professionals to dedicated volunteers, each member of our team brings commitment, courage, and heart to their role in keeping our community safe.
Board of Directors
At the helm of our organization is our Board of Directors—a group of trusted community leaders who provide oversight, fiscal accountability, and strategic guidance. Their leadership ensures that our operations stay aligned with the needs of the residents we serve while planning responsibly for the future of the district.
Line Staff
Our career firefighters are highly trained first responders, serving 24/7 to answer the call—whether it's a house fire, medical emergency, rescue, or hazardous situation. During fire season and peak operational periods, we are proud to work alongside our seasonal firefighters, who bring vital support and expertise in wildland firefighting and emergency surge response.
Volunteer Firefighters
Our volunteer firefighters are the heart of our community-based model. These dedicated individuals step forward to serve their neighbors, balancing full-time jobs, families, and responsibilities while committing to rigorous training and emergency response. Their passion and selflessness are a testament to the power of community spirit and service.
Student Firefighter Program
Through our Student Firefighter Program, we invest in the future of the fire service. These students receive hands-on training and field experience while continuing their education. They work side-by-side with seasoned professionals, gaining the practical skills and leadership foundations that will shape their fire service careers.
Administration Staff
No department can run smoothly without those who support the mission behind the scenes. Our administrative staff and support personnel ensure operational readiness through logistics, planning, training coordination, fire prevention efforts, and public outreach. Their work is critical to keeping the district responsive, efficient, and community-focused.
Together, we are more than a fire district—we are a team of professionals, volunteers, students, and leaders, united by a shared commitment to protecting the Upper Rogue Communities of Shady Cove, Trail, and Eagle Point. We are proud to serve you.
