Laura Goebel was appointed to the Jackson County Fire District #4 Board of Directors to fill the vacant Position #5, with a term ending June 30, 2027.

Laura is a longtime member of the Shady Cove business community and co-owner of Goebel's Country Store & BBQ, a locally owned small business that has become a destination for residents and visitors alike. With a background in the culinary industry and small business ownership, she brings practical experience in customer service, budgeting, operations, and community engagement.

As a local business owner, Laura understands the importance of dependable emergency services and is committed to supporting the District's mission of protecting the lives, property, and natural resources of the communities it serves. She looks forward to working collaboratively with fellow Board members, District staff, and community members to ensure Jackson County Fire District #4 continues to provide high-quality, fiscally responsible fire and emergency medical services.

Laura resides in the Shady Cove area and is honored to serve the community as a member of the Board of Directors.
