Chet Krupa serves as the elected representative for Position #3 on the Jackson County Fire District #4 Board of Directors. He was elected in 2025 and is serving a four-year term that concludes on June 30, 2029.

Chet is a proud U.S. Marine Corps veteran who served from 1965 to 1968, including service during the Vietnam War. He continues his commitment to fellow veterans as Commander of Veterans of Foreign Wars (VFW) Post 6881 in Shady Cove.

Before joining the Board of Directors, Chet served on the Jackson County Fire District #4 Civil Service Commission, where he helped support the District's merit-based hiring and promotional processes. His continued service reflects a longstanding commitment to strengthening the District and serving the Upper Rogue community.

Professionally, Chet spent more than 45 years in the beverage distribution industry, working as a beer sales representative and distributor in New York and California. Earlier in his life, he also volunteered as a firefighter in Boonville, New York, and in the City of Salina, California, gaining firsthand appreciation for the dedication and sacrifices made by emergency responders.

Chet and his family have deep roots in public service and community involvement. He is the proud father of two sons and one daughter and enjoys spending time with his three grandchildren. As a member of the Board of Directors, Chet is committed to responsible governance, fiscal stewardship, and ensuring Jackson County Fire District #4 continues to provide exceptional fire protection, rescue, and emergency medical services to the citizens of the Upper Rogue.
